Dear Island County Voter,

There are many ways that I can improve our Superior Court. I believe in
positive change. By making improvements incrementally, I know the entire
system benefits. Changes to the Court system will result in greatly reduced
court congestion, increased access to the courts and substantial savings to
the public with no cost to the taxpayers

Note: It is important to understand that strict rules govern the
dissemination of information in judicial races. This is as it should be.
The fact is that any statements by judicial candidates which would commit
them to positions on issues that could come before them are improper. This
restriction ensures that the judiciary is independent and neutral. I have
complied with this restriction and am unable to offer any opinions on
possible legal disputes which could come before me as Judge, as a result.
