Personal Accomplishments
I describe many accomplishments in my legal and academic career in these materials. However, by far my biggest accomplishment is being happily married to my wonderful wife, Mimi Buescher, for over two decades, and helping to raise our amazing children Alex and Tobe. Our family life has been the most important thing to all of us as our children have grown, and we take pride in all of the successes and accomplishments they have achieved. Not only is Mimi a fantastic attorney, business woman and mother; our kids are both outstanding students and have contributed extensively to their school community, participating in virtually every sport and extracurricular activity available in our local schools between them, winning countless awards along the way.
Mimi is a well regarded local attorney, and also one of the only other members of the local bar with legal experience as varied and extensive as my own. Although we will need to reorganize our practice if I am elected, it was Mimi's encouragement and support for me to bring some positive change to our local courts, combined with the full support of our two children that provided the final impetus for me to enter the race. It is because they have always held themselves to the same high standards that they appreciate and understand public service and support my desire to serve.
